CHILD SPONSORSHIP AND PROTECTION PROGRAM
The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said;
”I and the caretaker of an orphan are like this” (He held up two fingers conjoined) Sahih Al-Bukhari 5659.
- We ensure orphan and vulnerable children’s access to education, health and nutrition, water and sanitation and food security.
- We educate parents and caregivers about their role in the care, protection and development of children
- We promote safe and conducive home and community environments where children can live a life free of hunger, neglect, abuse and exploitation
- We work with government, civil society and other stakeholders for creating a vibrant, secure and dignified future of orphan and vulnerable children.
- We ensure that the enrolled children and their families benefit from our seasonal interventions – including Ramadan Feeding and Qurbani/Udhiya Programs
- We focus on improving the physical, mental, emotional, and social well-being of orphan and vulnerable children.
- Our aim is to empower children, their families and communities to build a better future for themselves.
- We promote participatory decision making where children’s participation is recognized, and their rights are protected.

- By sponsoring an orphan, you are making an enormous impact in the life of a child living in one of the world’s poorest regions and materializing his/her dreams for a prosperous and dignified future.
- To make the most of your financial contribution, it is supplemented with support from other donors, which enables us to help orphans, their families, and other children in community through innovative, sustainable programs.
- Within two months of sponsoring a child, you will receive a Welcome Package that includes photos of, and information about your sponsored child, his/ her family and community.
- You will have the opportunity to write letters to your sponsored child. This is a great way to get to know the child on a deeper, more personal level.
- You will receive a Child Progress Report each year, which would include a new photo of the sponsored child.
- You will also receive periodic email communications from Muslim Response USA highlighting the impact of your sponsorship support.
- Child sponsorship is a commitment of love and care that continues until the enrolled child celebrates his/her 18th birthday. If sponsorship with a particular child ends sooner, we will contact you as soon as possible to transfer your sponsorship to another child.

How your donations help Orphan Children and their Families
1. Yearly Education Support: $20 per month
For only $20 per month, you could help change an orphan’s life. With the yearly education support, a child can get the education needed to break the barrier of poverty. Change a life with your donation, starting from $20 per month.
2. Sponsor An Orphan – $45 Per Month
Your donation could bring a significant change to an orphan’s life. From food and education to healthcare needs, our Orphan Support Program provides adequate care to your sponsored child so that he or she could live happily like any other child. A child’s future is waiting for your generosity!
3. Provide a Gift of Livestock: $150
The caregivers of orphan children have to go through a lot of troubles to provide for the needs of the child. By donating $150, you can provide a gift of livestock (pair of sheep/goats) and help the orphan child’s family break the cycle of poverty on sustainable basis. Your generous donation will make a huge impact; please DONATE generously.
4. Water Hand Pump: $500
We work with orphan and vulnerable children in highly underserved and remote areas where people have to walk miles for a bucket of water every day. Your gift of Water Hand Pump with $500 can ensure the availability of clean drinking water for 5 to 10 years for an orphan child and his/her family. Your Sadaqah Jariah donation is their life line.
5. Share the joy of Eid Gift with Orphans – $30
There are millions of children who wait for gifts and new clothes on Eid but unfortunately, there is no one to fulfill their dreams. Will you like to send a gift to orphan or disadvantaged children as you will do for your own children this Eid? Your $25 donation will buy new clothes, pair of shoes and gift for an orphan child; please donate and share the joy of Eid with extremely poor and vulnerable children.
